****** VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION AS OF NOVEMBER 20TH 2015: All citizens of Trinidad and Tobago must have their electronic passport by November 24 2015, or they will not be allowed to travel abroad (from Trinidad and Tobago).
The old format passport will not be accepted for travel after Tuesday November 24th, according to the Ministry of National Security. The Ministry has advised citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who intend to travel abroad (from Trinidad and Tobago) and have not yet applied for a Machine Readable Passport to do so, as soon as possible. This information came via a press release from the Ministry of National Security’s Immigration Division. The release advised that all citizens must be in possession of a machine readable passport when travelling to a foreign country (from Trinidad and Tobago). “This is in keeping with the timeline and standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) for international travel,” the release stated.

World Performing Arts Team Trinidad and Tobago
The Scott programme is designed for talented young men and women to exhibit their artistic abilities, demonstrate their knowledge, achieve greater self-confidence, and earn valuable scholarship opportunities. Through Scott, higher education is an option for those with the drive and desire to excel in life.
Contestants will join other local talented individuals and groups, as well as those from over 40 countries, at the Annual World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California.

SCOTT is requesting school’s participation by selecting students who in their opinion are best deserving of the opportunity to develop their artistic skills.
Listed below are the criteria for auditioning:
Students must be talented (sing, dance, monologue or play a Musical Instrument)
Students must be 13 to 18 years of age, please provide copy of birth certificate.
Singers and dancers MUST walk with CD. Instrumentalist MUST walk with musical equipment and CD (optional).
The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) Hollywood, California is seeking
talented persons/groups and models ages 6-35.
