I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all who attending OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC’S “A Night of Elegance & Appreciation” In my view, the event was a magnificent success and on behalf of our team, I would like to thank you for spending the evening with us. It was great to have the opportunity to see so many of you face to face and wonderful to see you all in the same room enjoying yourselves. One again, thank you for spending such an enjoyable evening with us.

OCTF and Fueled By Hope Evangelistic Ministry delivered and blessed His Nesting Place Shelter with gym bags donated by Molina Healthcare, filled with personal hygiene products, feminine products and pampers. We also gave infant and toddler toys, female and children clothes, a car seat and other wonderful donated items. A special thanks to all our donors and ministry partners. Without you, we would never be able to do what we do! Much Love and appreciation.

Members of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC (OCTF) and Fueled by Hope Evangelistic Ministry distribute personal hygiene items and other miscellaneous items to our sisters in need. (Sharing some pictures) The necessities of life, water, food, clothing, sanitation, education and healthcare are items our homeless sisters and brothers struggle for daily and it's something that some of us take for granted. Homelessness can happen to anyone and knows no discrimination. There are infinite reasons for someone to become homeless, some being mental illnesses or job cuts. It’s a blessing to be a blessing to someone in need but it may also be an educational and humbling experience as you see “UP CLOSE” the reality of the persons that you pass on the street every day. Everyone deserves love and kindness. A kind word, or a smile, may go a long way. Thanks to all who donated towards our outreach project. To good friends, family and new acquaintances, thank you for making our Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser a Fruitful and Fabulous Event. We enjoyed the very warm afternoon in the shade with great company, some picked up their dinner to take out while others dined in. Thank you for you love and support

Donation of School Supplies to the Los Angeles True Passion Motor Bike Social Club. This is their annual Back to school supply drive which we are honored to be part of.

This is the opening ceremony of the World Champions of Performing Art Parade of Nations which included team Trinidad and Tobago along with competing representatives from 49 other nations. This week there will be competitions in different categories and the Grand Finale of this 21st annual event is scheduled on Friday at the Long Beach Performing Arts Terrace Theatre. Wishing all the very best.

What a glorious event full of praise, family, friends, fun and of course the food enjoyed the evening at our Gospel Jazz Benefit Concert. All proceeds will benefit a youth group in Guyana. Thanks to all who came out to support.

Donation to Bajans and Friends for Health and Education towards their Community Outreach Program

Caribbean Cultural Heritage Recognition Day! We had a spectacular day in celebration of our Caribbean Heritage at the Los Angeles City Hall. OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC was recognized along with several other Caribbean nonprofit organizations. This event was hosted in effort to give the citizens of Los Angeles the opportunity to learn about the vast and diverse cultures of our Caribbean communities.

OCTF provided financial assistance to three deserving high school seniors for their Prom. Prom is a very special formal occasion to seniors leaving high school; it’s when young ladies dress in colorful formal gowns with corsages and young men dress in tuxedos to celebrate the end of their school academic year. The members of OCTF are very grateful for your support in giving us the opportunity to enrich their lives but most importantly thanks for the memorable experience you have given them. Very soon they will be heading off to college to begin a new chapter in their lives, we wish them continued success in their studies, (1) electrical engineering, (1) psychology, (1) journalism & political science

The members of OCTF had a fabulous evening with friends at "Fun Time & Fellowship Tea Party" hosted by Faith United Methodist Church, Los Angeles, California

Books donated to the Women’s Federation for World Peace SoCal towards their Nigerian Peace Library Project, “The Peace Library” will be established in Masaka, in the state of Nasawara of Nigeria and will include a wide range of subjects. Their goal is to collect 20,000 books which will be shipped the beginning of summer. The members of OCTF are very excited to be included in this worthy project.

Thanks to all who supported OCTF’s Annual Mad Hatters Tea Party Fundraiser and for making it a major success. Special thanks to the entire team for your dedication and hard work.

The members of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC participated in an outreach project where we assisted in sewing and assembling sanitary products for girls and women in third world countries. We are thankful for the opportunity to be part of this project which was spearheaded by DAYS FOR GIRLS LOS ANGELES TEAM.

Project: Charity Begins at Home - I AM MY BROTHER’S KEEPER! It’s a Blessing to be a Blessing to someone in need! We had an amazing day sharing love, men bags, water, soup, prayer and encouragement!! Members of Fueled By Hope Evangelist Ministry, OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC., Love and Unity Outreach Ministry and Other Ministry Partners joined together to bless our brothers in need. We understand and agree that in doing God’s work, we are many members but one body in Christ!

OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC and Trinidad and Tobago represented at an International Day/Black History Month Event which highlighted diversity in Cultures with praise, food, parade of flags, international fashions and great company. Thanks to Maranatha Seven-Day Adventist Church Family for the invitation.

OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC was recognized by the City of Inglewood for its’ outstanding service and dedication to the Inglewood Community and making a positive impact on the lives of children

Donation of Books and Toys to Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, the center provides College Trek Afterschool Programs for children grades 3 to12 assisting them with homework and studies with individualized tutoring. These programs are held onsite at the center and are open year-round.

Thanks to all who donated towards our Shoe Drive. We are thankful for your blessings and continued support. Funds raised from this drive will be used towards our outreach programs.

Few things are as rewarding as seeing the face of a child light up when he can finally see clearly. OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC assisted in purchasing a pair of glasses for this young man. OCTF continues to say thanks; your generous donation is making a difference.

Giving is a priceless gift, and the members of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC are saying thank you! We're expressing gratitude to every volunteer and supporter that gave us their time, effort and assistance, both in goodwill and in contributions. Each and every one of you assisted us with our mission and is joining us on our journey in providing for our children and the basic necessities for the elderly, disabled and homeless, these simple things we take for granted. This year OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC awarded two scholarships to two wonderful and talented young adults and today was a day to celebrate. They are about to begin a new chapter in their lives to continue their education, one in medicine and the other in business. We are very thankful to those who've supported us and most importantly for giving us the opportunity to invest in our children's future.

OCTF "OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC" support at the Comite de Fetejos Centro Americanos (COFECA) parade the week end of September 9-10-11,2016 .

OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC presented this young man with a financial scholarship towards his continued education with a major in business. We are very proud of him and wish him all the best as he prepares to travel off to college which starts on September 21st. Thanks to all our family and friends who’ve supported us. It is because of you this scholarship was possible.

Project: Charity begins at home - Woman to Woman! As a ministry partner of this magnificent project, Team OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC distributed handbags filled with necessary personal care items to women in need in our own neighborhoods, Inglewood and Los Angeles. Special thanks to our ministry sister Mel’lisa Baptiste for including us in this project as her vision blossomed. This project was blessed by god and we know it was a tremendous blessing to our sisters in need! We delivered to women in transitional housing shelters and the streets of Inglewood and Los Angeles, it was a blessing for us to interact and pray with these ladies. Some women allowed us to take pictures but there were others who didn’t want their picture taken and we respected their wishes.

It’s back to school time!!! OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC donation of supplies to Love and Unity Church Back to School Outreach Program, Bellflower, California. We are thankful for the opportunity to partner and share in this blessed program.

Thanks to all who came out in support of OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC's Community Outreach. It was a beautiful and hot day but we all had a fabulous time. The wonderful company was energized with a variety of discussions through sharing of ideas and stories; it was worth the time spent in the shade.

We are once again giving in support of our future leaders. We donated back to school supplies to True Passion Los Angeles Chapter Social Club, In picture receiving donation are Angela Carter and VP of LATP, they were collecting school supplies to help children in need as they are about to start off their 2016-2017 school year. OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC is proud to donate to PL George Nursery School, Bakau, Newtown, Gambia, West Africa which provides early childhood education, health, and safety programs for unrepresented children ages two to seven from impoverished communities. On Oct.24.2015, OCTF had another successful annual event and collected an abundance of gifts for children in need. This was the beginning of a fabulous holiday for our kids. Thanks for the continued support of Unleashed Ridaz and the Ridaz of the West Coast Presidents Alliance (WCPA) for their wonderful gifts; ACE/Swami Hardware Gardena California for providing a drop off location; Carol Charles for the delicious food; Abigail Smith for the sweet treats and most off all, our members and volunteers for making this a memorable day for our guests

WHAT A FABULOUS DAY!!!. On Oct.9.2015, OCTF President was invited to give a presentation on A Glimpse of Trinidad & Tobago to over 60 seniors at a day camp in Arcadia, California. This presentation included information on Trinidad and Tobago's Geography, Background, Flag, People, Economy and so much more.

OUR CHILDREN THE FUTURE INC would like to thank all who came out in support of our Health Screening & Community Outreach on Sep.19th.2015. We had a magnificent time meeting friends (meeting old and making new). The very best to all.

Thanks to the members of California Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, It was our pleasure to support our wonderful Olympians.

The week spent with team SOTT, was full of unforgettable memories which will remain engraved in our minds and we are very proud of them" Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago". During the exciting time of Special Olympics World Games 2015 (July 25 to August 2) it was a pleasure cheering on our athletes as they celebrated the true meaning of courage, joy and determination. The special Olympic Oath: Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt, is one that I think we all should live up to. After the completion of the Special Olympics World Games, our Trinidad and Tobago team took home 48 medals (15 Gold; 9 Silver; 24 Bronze).

This event was a huge international party with nightly events. The opening ceremony was a Parade of Nations which included TEAM Trinidad and Tobago, parading through the crowded waterside boardwalk. The event was open to the public and Team Trinidad and Tobago showed their team pride at the three stage sites which ended in the Lighthouse Park. The week followed with competitions in different categories and the final show at the Long Beach Performing Arts Terrace Theatre, which is now the New home to the Grand Finale. This three thousand seat theatre came alive around the World during the live 2015 WCOPA Webcast on July 17, 2015. This was the 19th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts.

While at the CMPPA conference, it was wonderful meeting very good friends, especially Noel & Chevaughn Joseph, Co-Founders of The Just Because Foundation for children living with cancer. I was delighted to be presented with their foundation "Be Better Bear" and look forward to continue supporting them and The Just Because Foundation as they provide emotional, practical and social support for children and their families living with cancer.
