I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER

PURPOSE:

Funds raised and donated items received for Community Outreach Programs will be used towards I am My Brother’s Keeper.

Community Outreach is a collaborative effort with OCTF and Fueled by Hope Evangelistic Ministry. The purpose of this effort is to assist those in need in our community.

The necessities of life, water, food, clothing, sanitation, education and healthcare are items our homeless sisters and brothers struggle for daily and it’s something that some of us take for granted.

Homelessness can happen to anyone and knows no discrimination. There are infinite reasons for someone to become homeless, some being mental illnesses or job cuts.

It’s a blessing to be a blessing to someone in need but it may also be an educational and humbling experience as you see “up close” the reality of the persons that you pass on the street every day. Everyone deserves love and kindness. A kind word, or a smile, may go a long way.
